Expunctions / Non-Disclosures
Did you know that you could legally seal your criminal record in Texas?
A criminal record can make it difficult to do many things in life.
When an expunction is granted, you can legally say that you were never charged with a criminal case. In Texas, expunctions are not available in all circumstances. Examples are when a person is found not guilty at trial, when a person is arrested but the arresting agency never files the case, and a few other scenarios.
If you placed on deferred adjudication probation and successfully completed it, you may be eligible for non-disclosure.
A theft on your record can make it difficult to get a job. An assault on your record may make it difficult to get housing. Anything on your record can make it difficult to do many things in life.
A good lawyer knows how Expunctions / Non-Disclosures work. Expunction / Non-Disclosure law can sometimes be difficult.
